Stories that feel grounded
and human.
About
I'm Tim Sarquis, a filmmaker, editor, and cinematographer based in California. I started out in TV station marketing—cutting promos, building campaigns, and learning how to grab attention fast. Over time, that evolved into a deeper pull toward storytelling.
Today, I'm an executive producer at ABC Owned Television Stations, leading longform specials and impactful storytelling for both broadcast and streaming. My work has aired on Hulu, Disney+, and across the country, and along the way I've picked up eight Emmys and national recognition.
I tell stories that feel grounded and human. I often work solo or in small crews, doing everything from writing and shooting to cutting the final edit. That's where I'm most comfortable—in the thick of it, shaping something honest.
